Hopefully someone can benefit from this discount. There's a list of people who qualify. The best way is to find a local Glock LE dealer. That way you can pick up your Glock the same day and not have to wait weeks for your FFL to get your info sent over. Attach is a price sheet I will be pick up a 4th gen Glock 23 for $398 (standard sights and 3 mags) smile pdf file: PDF.pdf

That how i've been buying my Glocks overy sice I started with the department. I got to Vance's shooter Supply in Columbus Oh. Some other brands offer LE discounts as well, but none as much as glock.

I note that list includes: Sworn Law Enforcement Officers or Federal Agents, Retired Law Enforcement Officers or Retired Federal Agents with "retired" credentials, Corrections Officers, including Parole & Probation Officers, State licensed Security Companies, State licensed Security Officers, Active Military, National Guard, or Military Reserve personnel - all branches, Legitimately retired military veterans, with “retired” military I.D. Licensed Para-Medics or EMTs, Fire Fighters (including volunteers) with appropriate I.D. All TSA employees, Commercial Pilot License holders, regardless of class & Federal Flight Deck Officers, Court Judges, District Attorneys and Deputy District Attorneys, LE Academy or College students with proof of enrollment in a Criminal Justice Program. So, take a look at the list - Military are on there...so are commercial pilots...that's an extensive list that qualifies...and saves a few $$ on a new Glock! cheers

I don't think any "commercial pilot" qualify. When I talk to my LE Glock dealer, he said to bring my Certificate and Crew ID (which is given to me by my airline). If you are an average weekend pilot with a commercial certificate, you will not qualify. This is what I was told by my dealer. The whole point of airline pilot given the discount is we are piggy back to the FFDO program. HK use to give pilots $400 off, since that's the gun that were issued to the FFDO.

Yeah - the dealer may not want to handle the transaction...but the form was pretty clear - commercial pilot. FFDO was a separate line... As you mentioned...H&K had the same thing for a while - whether you were an FFDO or not, they offered the deal to every airline pilot: H&K USP Compact, .40 S&W, tritium sights, LE trigger (8 lb pull - no safety) for $500. Retail on that weapon at that time was about $900, and you had to send in a copy of your airline ID, limit one per pilot...but you bet I bought one! It was too good a deal to pass up!
