GF-4 vs. GF-5 HTHS Bench Test

"New to GF-5. 0W, 5W, 10W-40 changed from 2.9 to 3.5 cSt maximum at 150°C"

Is the above "maximum" a typo that should say minimum?
If so why the proposed increase?
Or are they adding a maximum HTHS to the SAE J300 for these grades?

That would be interesting since the current SAE J300 only lists min req HTHS for all grades.

Has to be a typo, I think 2.9 has always been a minimum and I've never seen any 40w with an HTHS below 3.5.

Thats what I thought because of the way SAE J300 reads:
Minimum HTHS 2.9 (0W-40, 5W-40, 10W-40 grades)
Minimum HTHS 3.7 (15W-40, 20W-40, 25W-40, 40 grades)
