A local tire shop---a regional chain---has them listed as a special order. I can find almost no info on them. Semperit is part of the greater Continental corporate tire world, but the only time I have seen them mentioned as part of General is in the online listing from the local shop.
Price is what caught my eye. It's the least-expensive winter tire offered at the chain in question. I would guess there is good reason for that---but would like to hear if anyone knows more about 'em.
they aren't general tires
Semperit is the brand which is part of the conti family.
Its not a well known tire. I'd pass with the current deals on much better known tires.
IMO its probably similar to the situation with cooper
and their many sub-brands.
Just because a starfire is ""made by cooper""
doesn't mean its performance is in anyway equivalent to any cooper tires.
