Got an 04 F350 DRW with the limited slip Dana 80. My owner's manual calls for 75W-90, but on other forums some guys are saying that 75W-140 has superseded that old spec. Can anyone confirm what I should use, or does it really matter? I plan on putting in Amsoil Severe Gear soon.
I am in Canada, so hot summers and cold winters are incurred. My truck only tows about 3 or 4 times/year, but at all times it has a welding deck on it which brings me right up to the max GVW (11,ooolbs).
