Frameless door and convertible top seals

Given the rubbing that occurs on these seals, should they be dressed regularly with krytox, sil-glyde or equivalent?

Nothing ive seen indicates any necessity.

That said, it sounds like Im getting a rubbing/rattling sound at my window top/convertible top interface... so I have to wonder if I need to lube it a bit.

Recommendations?
 
Honda recommended yearly applications of their Shin-etsu grease on all the rubber seals in the S2000's convertible top. I did this every spring and fall and it actually did help with some wind noise.

On my Audi I use Einszett Gummi Pflege on all the door gaskets twice a year.

Haven't been able to find Gummi Pflege Stift in any local stores.
I've ordered mine from the "store" on autogeekonline dot net. Along with just a few other items, lol.
 
Gummi pflege is not the same as it used to be. It is now a liquid in a funny bottle with applicator. Is that what everyone is using????
