I have a Sebring Convertible, the vinyl top is starting to show its age, it started cracking in a couple places and separated from the rear window. As a temporary measure I used 3M tape to secure the top to the window and thats working well. My question is whether or not there is a product that would help buy time, my car isnt worth what a top replacement is. I tried Blue Coral Convertible top Cleaner/conditioner, that didnt do anything, I also tried Ragtopp cleaner/protectant, but that wore off after about a week. Duragloss 301 was a mess and didnt work. Ive read that Meguiars Gold Class Rubber/Vinyl dressing works well on convertible tops. Any thoughts on that? Im wanting to condition the vinyl the best I can, the cracks are about 1/2 inch long and used a silicone to seal those and so far thats working fine. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on my S2000 twice a year, after 11 years the top is almost as new without any sign of cracking anywhere.

Surf City has a convertible top protectant as well (Walmart sells it). I wonder if it's any good? I love their leather rejuvenator.

I've tried tons of stuff. Nothing lasts more than a month or 2.

The Raggtopp protectant gives a nice shine but is a pain to apply. You really don't want it on the paint. But it only looks shiny for a few weeks.

A lot of people like aerospace 303. I think it's the cool sounding name because it's no better than armor all. Top only looks good for a few days.

It's no use.

+1 on 303 protectant, I had a 04 Sebring myself, but it had a fabric type top. There is a forum called sebringclub.net I got good advice from for mine until it got totalled, good luck.

I agree. I tried 303 one time and actually thought it was worse than Armor All

Money back guarantee if you don't like it. I like their other products just fine.
