Fram PH6065B Motorcycle Oil Filter For Twin Cam Harley Davidsons

I guess with that data the OEM HD filter is still the better choice?
Since HD doesn’t publish their specs, who really knows. One thing I do know though, the HD filter core is louvers, and I am not a fan of louvers over holes. Louvers torture a mind like mine with the thoughts of, “are they all open? Are they all open to the right size they should be opened to?”

It’s my disorder, not a derogatory statement that louvers are bad, but holes are quite clear. :)

Did you notice that the base of the PH6065B doesn't look like the typical Fram PH filter. This one must be built by someone else and rebranded as a Fram.

The base plate looks built pretty heavy duty ... maybe a Champion Labs built filter?
I believe First Brands owns both Fram and Champion Labs. It’s logical that since Champion Labs makes the HD OEM filter they may possibly being building the Fram.
