Nope ... if a Mod edits someone's post, it says so in the lower RH corner.

A deleted post & then a copy/paste re-post of the stated requirements is how I took it. Not an edit of an existing post like you mention.
I don't think a Mod can make posts and make it look like the member did the post. In other words, a Mod couldn't go around making posts like he was anyone else. If the OP's post was modified/edited by a Mod, it would say so in the bottom right corner of the post.
In this instance it appears it was copy/pasted from a PM by OP.
Who knows, but the OP had to have put it in his post. The post wasn't made by or edited by a Mod. Is there a problem with how its been posted?

I think we've hashed this out enough today. This was yesterday's news.
Grab one of these, install it, and sleep well at night. I wouldn’t go 25,000 miles on it but it’ll filter worlds better than an oem filter
