Fram Grip Section Downgrade?

I have defended Fram for many years now but I can no longer defend them anymore. The build quality is terrible now. I’m sure they will still continue to be the number one oil filter that do it yourselfers buy though. 99.9% of their buyers have no idea what has been happening lately.

I was the same way with Wix. Over 20 years of use and had to eat crow when m+h slowly destroyed the quality…
