This is in Wichita.Which KS area?
Gotcha. I'm up in topeka and been to 2 Walmarts in the last couple days and no clearance. :'(Agreed - I’d rather just pay the $5 for PG EX. But, I’m glad to see some action finally in the filter section.

Nothing wrong with them.I still wouldn't buy them.
If I'm spending my money, knowing the ruffled bypass valves, poor glue, closed louvers, I'll spend that somewhere else.Nothing wrong with them.
I would and will...I still wouldn't buy them.
What model #? If I see any clearance at WM do you want me to get them for you? Price would be actual paid with tax/shipping from Centereach NY 11720.I would and will...
Would hate to have this problem, but my filter number is seared in my head.Hate having to stand in front of a wall of clearance filters and fumble thru the now probably closed Fram website on my phone cross-checking fitments.

I thought the same about the 'Fram Marines' on the bottom shelf...never heard of them before.Never noticed the FRAM Diesel filters before.
Don't sell or have not made for the last couple of decades.Check the numbers to see which cars DON'T SELL in Wichita.

Never seen those or the marine filters before. I suspect the marine filters were in a different set of shelves though, like motorcycle filters usually are.^^^ Never noticed the FRAM Diesel filters before.
What's funny is how many people install/use filters with "defects" and never know they had them.... I find it funny to cut filters open after they've been used !If I'm spending my money, knowing the ruffled bypass valves, poor glue, closed louvers, I'll spend that somewhere else.
We are the only group who probably looks inside for louver or other defects if we can.Never seen those or the marine filters before. I suspect the marine filters were in a different set of shelves though, like motorcycle filters usually are.

If we cut them open prior they may leak just a little bit when I install them after cutting even if I use FlexSeal on them.
Or tell someone buying one brand that it only filters XX% at YY microns vs what another brand does .... or "they use cardboard end caps instead of metal" .... and so on !I'll never forget here years ago, someone talked about blowing air through the filters, unboxed, while standing in the aisle in the store--before the guy bought them. Folks like that would be the Navy Seals of BITOG.
Yes I got 5x fram force filters for about 1$ each(from AAP).. they have the giant louver-less stripe around the center tube.... ugh. What's funny is how many people install/use filters with "defects" and never know they had them.... I find it funny to cut filters open after they've been used !
