No such thing as "better oil flow" when a PD oil pump is forcing oil through the filter. More base plate holes and an eCore center tube would produce a hair less delta-p across the filter assembly. The only time a filter with less delta-p will "flow more oil" is when the PD is in pressure relief, which hardly ever happens unless someone revs an engine really high with very cold thick oil.

If FB is consolidating production methods across their realm then they are doing a pretty sloppy job of it.

Now they have Horizon Global with all their trailer and towing businesses. That should get interesting as well.
