No way of knowing without ISO testing on a known leaker. @ZeeOSix and others much smarter than I have estimated between 10-15% leakage. Sorry I don’t have a better answer.

I was in Walmart this morning, looking at the Walmart Super Tech Super Tech filters. They have one for $3.84 that fits Hondas.
In the SS6607 filter's description on Walmart's website, it says:

- Super Tech oil filter lookup is engineered with a variety of natural and synthetic fibers for optimum efficiency

What are everyone thoughts on this low priced filter for $3.84 at Walmart. Is it safe to use as a strategic filter, or are there known
issues with it's workmanship / quality assurance manufacturing that could hurt an engine.
Re: the PG-XL and the Microguard Select, my understanding is those are “10k mile” filters, correct?
I’m staying at 10k mile OCIs with the Highlander hybrid and HPL premium plus 0w-20 owing to the warranty. Post warranty, I’d like to go one year on the OCI (guessing 15k miles) but I want a great filter to match.
I have an Endurance on the engine currently, but perusing the threads re: the Endurance issues gives me pause to use that brand again.
The only other 20k mile filter I can think of is the Purolator Boss.

Yes 10k. Many c&p’s with over 10k look great.
Correct. The Amsoil, Royal Purple and Endurance are all clones.

Thanks. In looking carefully at the photos, all I see is 99% efficiency listed, but not the micron size.
Has anyone seen any recent specs on the low priced Super Tech Super Tech filters ($3.84 at Walmart) as to whether it's

Thanks. So then that might disqualify the Super Tech Super Tech filters from a potential strategic oil filter for me then.
Look at what the red arrow is pointing to in the 2nd photo in post 869. Says particles greater than 30 microns. The red arrow at the top says 99%. So that means it's 99% at particles greater than 30 microns.
Just go get a Carquest Premium at Advance Auto or a Microgard Select ar OReilly and you'll have no more worries. It will cost more, but will be worth it.
Yep, exactly what I found with the now discontinued Super Tech MP7317 c&p HERE. Same bypass piece seal area design as current white Super Tech filters.
I'm very interested to see if the synthetic end cap version seals better. I may just need to buy another Super Tech3614 and cut it open to see.
They should, unless there's some kind of defect that will not allow the leaf spring to fully sit down on the end cap.
