At 17, I was driving a 1972 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Hard-top convertible.Kids my son's age are weird (maybe I am the weird one). They all love it. He does too. I like it but as you all know not my thing (except for ease of maintenance, parts availability and relative reliability at this price point). Most of his friends don't drive, of the 15 I know of that he hangs out with ages 16 to 17 only 3 drive.
My girlfriend in high school had a 1985 Dodge Caravan...Ah good times!!At 17, I was driving a 1972 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Hard-top convertible.
It had a huge back seat……….yea, I loved that back seat![]()
I am going to monitor it for a bit. I have the stuff just in case.I have yet to see a 3800 Series III intake gasket go bad. Not sure I’d replace it unless it is leaking.

My Lucerne has the best A/C of any vehicle I've ever owned. I was curious to see what temp it would get too. Most of the time it runs at 41-42F but I've seen it go as low as 39F a couple times.Best A/C of all the cars I own, makes me kind of mad. LOL
The good thing about where I live is maybe 1 snow storm a year in the low lands and no salt on the roads so all my stuff looks like that.My Lucerne has the best A/C of any vehicle I've ever owned. My underneath looks good like yours, I think it has to do with older people not driving in bad weather. I did purchase mine from a dealer but looking up the previous owner it appears two sisters owned it that were in their upper 60's, they purchased it when it had 16k.
You'd be surprised. When I got my 09 I got a few looks from women all over. College, friends of friends etc. One of them even straight up grabbed my phone and added herself to my contacts.Babe magnet right there!Sneaky dad.
Check zzperformance.comI'd check the 2 dog-bone engine mounts topside up front. Replace if original. Doubtful there is an aftermarket one w/urethane bushings, but that might be interesting.
