Formula One- 2025

I follow a little.
Looks like Verstappen won't be dominating like he used to.
Hamilton looking good with Ferrari so far.

It looks to be a very exciting season with a lot of teams having the potential for a win instead of just one team dominating. This is how F1 should be! I will always root for Lewis (he is my ex wife’s step cousin!!) but I enjoy seeing lots of different drivers winning.

Soon to be two full races in and looking like an even better season than 2024.

Here’s to more teams being competitive!
Times have never been so close. Rookies looking great, and Tsunoda should have that seat over Lawson.

Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

Didn't Louis Hamilton already bust out a win for Ferrari? I honestly thought I'd never see him drive for anyone but Mercedes.

Are we going to be blessed with yet another year of that screaming idiot David Croft?

If you think Crofty is too excitable and shouty, you should go over to F1TV and give Alex Jacques a try

Only if you don't turn the volume down.
What's the over/under on how many races it takes RB to replace Lawson?
I reckon 2 more races, but whomever they replace him with won't do any better. The car is a pig to drive, and not even Verstappen has a proper handle on it this year. I'd put a nice bottle of something on them swapping Lawson and Tsunoda and him not really doing much better. Even Verstappen said "put Lawson in an RB and he'd be up with the others".

I reckon given sufficient time, he'd figure it out but the operating window of the car is as narrow as Markos patience window.

Miami. But the real question is who do they replace him with? Right now Danny Ric is the last driver who could drive the RB but it was prior to the ground effect cars.

Truly a testament that you're only as good as your last season:

Checo wheeled the RB18 and RB19 really well. Missed second in the driver to Leclerc by 3 points in 2022 and handling outscored Hamilton for the #2 spot in 2023. More importantly than outright performance, he was consistently able to place the car in the field and give strategy options for the team to support Max.

RB20 was a different story but given Lawson's complete lack of pace in the RB21, maybe Checo's performance in RB20 wasn't fully a Checo problem? Though I also find it hard to believe that the RB is so complicated that only a freak-of-nature driver like Max can extract performance out of it. Doubly so that when it rains and the car should be even more on-edge, Max seems to go faster.

I agree. The car is the problem. However, the biggest problem with Checo was that he would occasionally make horrible decisions (ex, 2024 Monaco) which would either wreck the car or cost too many positions. This season Max is saying the car isn't good enough.
