Formula One- 2025

I’m still questioning what they picked him over Saint!
He brings more viewers and fans. Ferrari is probably selling more merchandise since he joined. His input on car development probably carries more weight than Sainz as well.

When Norris went by Max after his last pit, that's alot more than just better suspension tech helping him through the corners. He walked away from Max...wasn't even close.

What else does McLaren have in their engine department...or is it just superior aero?

Still trying to figure out why Lawson received no penalty, while for nearly the identical thing one race earlier Oscar gets one. Oscar looked like he at least had control, Liam didn’t look like he had a prayer.

I'm not ready to get interested by F1 again, I'm biding my time till my guy makes it to F1, but as someone who screamed at the screen when he (my guy) got discqualified from a worthy F3 win in Austria a few months ago, for a plank that was 3.7mm thick rather than the minimum of 4mm - I sympathize with those two. I mean, for my guy, those 0.3mm surely made for his win - I congratulate the powers to be on their vigilance 😊 .

The first time I heard of a plank thickness disqual was thirty years ago when a young Schumacher got disqualified, but his plank has lost 4 or 5 full millimeters. And even back then, most of the reporters had a huge WTH moment when this was used as a disqual reason.

I just heard BOTH McLaren's were disqualified in Vegas, because their skid plates were too thin. I thought both of them were sparking A LOT more than everyone else.

What are the point standings now with both of them out of the money, and Verstappen winning?

Amazing that even with McLaren fighting two against one, the "one" being Max, it seems inconceivable that Max has a decent chance of winning the WDC - and he did it in a car not as good as the McLarens. Plus, Red Bull was in team turmoil.

I've never been a Max fan. That said, I do think he's right up there with Senna. But I gotta tell ya, I'm pulling for him. It would be nice to witness first hand what could go down in history as one of F1's most incredible come from behind season finishes.

Can you imagine Norris and Piastri getting together and taking each other out?! Won't happen but.....OMG!

Yeah, it's crazy that it's still coming down to the wire. I think it's largely due to Piastri going from dominant to falling apart, or else one of the McLarens would have amassed far more of the available points.

Max is a brilliant driver, but I can't root for him because of the history of race control being lenient with his aggressive driving. And of course, seeing a driver win his first vs another driver's 4th is a bigger deal to me, seeing as many drivers never get to challenge for a WDC. If Lando wins, it will have been against one of the best to ever do it, as well as a strong challenge from his own teammate.
