That is exactly why I bought a GMC.

IMO, trading one set of problems for another... Water pump failures, oil consumption, check engine light always on. Every manufacturer has their woes with certain product lines.

My check engine light hasn't been on for months!

I always found it interesting that Ford wouldn't use OHVs because Chevrolet used them and Chevrolet would use Oil pumps because Ford did. Glad their off spring got it correct. Ed
