Totals are in the lower 60 count, with the majority being used/CL/FB flips.

I'm with you. Once had a Chevy Equinox that had a constant ABS issue. Repeated trips back for warranty work. Last time I was right at the end of the warranty and I was upset that this was going to end up being something I was going to have to pay for. Was talking to the service guy about my concerns when one of the "managers" walked in. She just rolled her eyes and said "well just trade it in for another one."
I...lost...my...mind!
I was in the military at the time, and unfortunately in uniform. Called my Commander (I was a 1st Sgt at the time so had a direct line) and told him there was a chance he would be bailing me out of jail.
The owner of the dealership happened to be there and apparently heard my very loud voice. Went back to his office where he offered me all sorts of warrantees and had the manager who made that comment apologize to me. Told him all I wanted was my car back and he didn't have to worry about ever seeing me again as I would be getting rid of it and never step foot in a Chevy dealership. And never have. I'm fickle that way. Known to hold a grudge.

I traded in my Chevy two days after the 120,000 mile extended warranty I (wisely) purchased expired.

My dealership experience, at least, was positive. The selling dealer went way above and beyond trying to make things right. They waived most of the warranty deductibles. Even when it had over 100,000 miles, I was still driving brand-new, loaded 4WD Silverados as loaners. Since they also sell Kias, I stuck with them, confident that they'd always do right by me--and they have.

Only one new, but 2 1 year olds.

New: 1993 Toyota DLX xcab 4x4 3.0 manual. Drove it 20 years.
1yos: 89 Civic HB Si & 18 Mustang GT

Someone else mentioned their very bad experience with a '78 Fiesta. Samo-o with my '80 German Ford Fiesta. Imported to US from '78-'80. Bad engine block, bad cylinder boring, blown radiator, etc., etc. All with Ford's generous 1980, 12 mo./12k mile total warranty.
2 SER's, tell me more. I still have my 1991 which I bought new and still have. Probably will cut her loose this year.

I lost the '91 in 1993, to my first wife when we separated. Bought the '93 at that time and had it for it for 8 years. Loved the SE-R's and should have kept it longer. Hammer reliability and a blast to drive. As you know. The two that I bought were the only ones that I ever saw on dealer's lots. Every front wheel drive car made should be required to have a viscous coupled limited slip like the SE-R.
