Ford 2.7L EcoBoost Owners - Which Motorcraft Filter Is The Newest Version?

Both of these are Motorcraft FL-2062A filters. Which is the newest version?

Is it "A"

Or "B"

FL-2062 was the original 2.7 filter (A)
FL-2062A is the current 2.7 filter (B)

Updated Motorcraft FL-2062-A

Came across this today on another page. Looks like an updated 2.7L ecoboost filter. Made in Brazil. I wonder if ford changed suppliers on these or something. I may have to try one out next change. I usually will not use a motorcraft but if they moved away from purolator... anyone see these or...

Quaker State Full Synthetic Euro 5W40.
I have some Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5W30 up next.

I llke MC one as it’s what we use at work. And we also have the Wix 10050 filters. Both hold up excellent

The WIX, NAPA Gold, Motorcraft and Purolator are well constructed filters. I have used both the NAPA Gold and Motorcraft in my truck.

For me, it’s not worth the money. If I were to buy a FRAM, it would be the Tough Guard. I change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles.

Agree. I picking up my new Bronco Wildtrak 2.7L in the morning. I am thinking 5K or less for the OCI with a number of break-in OCs...

Definitely less than 5k if you can, especially for cold months.
