Flew American's new 321XLR

Boeing better get the Max-10 certified soon….

It won’t have the range of the 321neo/LR/XLR line, but it’s my understanding it closely matches the economics of the 321neo lineup, unlike the Max-9.
Yep, Boeing really needs to close this long running horror show.
Historically the operating economics of the 737 generations and the contemporary single aisle Airbuses have been pretty much interchangeable.
Longer range missions with these aircraft are misguided I think. These aircraft were designed to be short range haulers that don't need to go fast, so they don't. This is also the reason that I find it nonsense to compare the A321 to the B757. Maybe all of the room, but none of the performance.
