Anybody else suffer with acid indigestion? For about two months now, my stomach has been on fire. I've cut my coffee consumption down to a cup a day, (I used to drink two pots a day) and I'm trying to watch what I eat.
Last night, I slept about two hours. I had a hot dog for supper with some mac and cheese and I tasted that dang hot dog all night long. Could not lie down as my stomach would turn to fire, (upper part of stomach). Finally got a little sleep by sleeping in my easy chair. Thought I would get a good nights sleep tonight, but stomach is starting to burn again like you wouldn't believe. Ate ribs for dinner with no sauce and some lima beans with no seasoning at all. I've been taking pepcid, tums, rolaids, you name it, but it seems to be getting worse.
Is this what they call "acid reflux"? The top of my stomach burns like fire and keeps me awake. I'm getting to the point I burp all the time and on a couple of occasions have puked, (sorry to be so gross).
I used to enjoy a little shot of Johnny Walker in the evening, but now I can't because it's like drinking gasoline and swallowing a match.
Does anybody else suffer with this? It's starting to really bother me.
