I got this information from a Fleetguard service rep. I thought is was interesting to note the differences between the two. LF782 is their regular paper media, LF3554 is their synthetic media. Both are the same size and fit my application. LF782 retails for approx. $6cdn LF3554 about $10cdn.
LF782 LF3554
Capacity 10g 14g
10 micron efficiency twa N/A 73%
30 micron efficiency twa 76% 100%
rated flow 2.91GPM 7.93GPM
Element Collapse/burst 79.77PSI 79.77PSI

They quoted test SAE J1858 for the capacity and micron ratings. I am currently using a K&N which is about $15cdn and considering staying with K&N, switching to the LF3554($10) or an Amsoil($10). Any thoughts?
