I swear someone (fill in THAT blank) creates these nutty groups, not so much to attract other nutters but to label legitimate other people and groups. Especially when the media is involved. Preparing for natural disasters, or man made disasters......sudden if you have a couple weeks of food and supplies laid up you are a "prepper"............or well most other examples are fairly political, but society is pushing it when they start labeling folks with USA flags out front as racist........or associating the Gadsden with hate.............

Pythagoras figured it out it was round & Eratosthenes figured out what the diameter was, 2200 years ago by measuring some distances and looking at sticks & statues.

When you come the the party with less mental acuity than people had 2K years ago, its just sad.....

We could use more science in today's world.

There are some real mysteries in the universe like dark energy, dark matter, gravity, proper interpretation of quantum entanglement, etc.

Then there's also fun theories out there with no proof like string theory, loop quantum gravity, asymptotically safe gravity, causal dynamical triangulations etc.

Way more interesting than settled stuff like whether the earth is flat or not.

I like this guy, interesting show.

That is one of the worst shows out there. I can't stand watching more than a few minutes at a time without having to change the channel. He's always throwing out theories with no proof. Pretty much any question always ends up hinting at aliens. See a half eaten sandwich on the floor? Maybe aliens... That show never heard of Occam's Razor.
