I assume that is CPVC pipe???

This permanent transition from CPVC to copper are adapters shown at minute 4 in this Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oL2TBel5S0 Sweat copper fitting, screw in cpvc to copper (with dope), last....glue on CPVC.

This permanent transition has no threads (excellent): https://www.siouxchief.com/products...-adapters-connectors/straight/male-sweat
Also check out: https://www.siouxchief.com/products...c-metalhead-adapters-connectors/straight

Next, less permanent would be a CPVC to copper union: http://www.yourepair.com/580/how-to-using-a-union-to-connect-copper-and-cpvc-water-line.html

Easiest would be CPVC to copper sharkbites. I'm still a bit leery of sharkbites where a failure could be catastrophic.....just my old school curmudgeon diy opinion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gToGpVqorZA

We are good. Had a good time cutting the plastic pipe. Can't complete the job as my cement has hardened.

Don't need anymore hits. Mission accomplished. Thanks for all your help.
