The original discussion on Fitch was closed... which made it impossible to post an update.
The discussion doesn't show up when doing a search of forums for Fitch making it harder to link back to... but it came up in a google search.
Here's the original thread:

After testing Fitch for ~400,000 km in a variety of vehicles we noticed that our 1.3 L 2006 Yaris showed a noticeable improvement in fuel efficiency from ~12 km/L to ~14 km/L. We added the Fitch pellets because the car was running rough, down on power and getting poor mileage (~12 km/L)... when it normally gets ~14 km/L. After application the car ran smoother, power was back up and mileage increased to ~14 km/L (normal).

We eventually tracked down the original problem to old spark plugs with a gap that was roughly twice what it should have been. It took a few thousand kilometres to work out that the plugs were at fault and replace them. The fact that the engine suddenly started running significantly better after the Fitch pellets made it harder to figure out the plugs needed replacing. However the sudden improvement proved that the Fitch pellets were responsible.

Total mileage improvement was ~10%

It appears that in vehicles that are already running well any mileage improvement, when using the Fitch catalyst, is hard to notice i.e. <5%

The impression that you get more power (car is more zippy) after adding the Fitch pellets is probably correct.

The Fitch website has a variety of tests showing similar improvements across a variety of metrics.

:-)

Reviews from users tend to be positive about Fitch.
Buying the in-line system is very expensive and thus harder to justify.
The fuel pellets are much cheaper and easier to justify.

BTW: Adding more fuel pellets doesn't seem to improve the results.
Adding only a few pellets (as few as possible) is the most cost effective strategy.

:)
P.S. Fitch is only cost effective because it lasts for so long... meaning that even small improvements in fuel efficiency eventually save you enough to justify the cost of the product.

I like the magnets, they do all this plus they catch every nut, bolt and 10mm socket you drop in the engine compartment. 🤣

  • This Magnetic Power Fuel Saver helps you to achieve better gas or fuel mileage.
  • The passage of fuel through the magnetic field causes the hydrocarbon molecules to separate with the fuel line which would result in greater oxidation thus giving higher combustion performance and efficiency for a cleaner burning engine.
  • 1.Save Fuel 2.Low speed high horsepower, torque output 3.Increase ignition efficiency
  • 4.Increase the engine life 5.Promote driving pleasure
  • 6.This kit can make fuel burn more completely and cleanly, reduce carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon up

So, you drop these tin tablets in the gas tank - and it:

REFORMULATES GASOLINE AND DIESEL RESULTING IN A MORE COMPLETE BURN AND ALLOWING YOU TO EXTRACT MORE ENERGY/GALLON FROM YOUR ENGINE

INCREASES HORSEPOWER AND TORQUE

IMPROVES FUEL ECONOMY BY 1 TO 2.5 MPG

IMPROVES PERFORMANCE IN ETHANOL BLENDED FUELS, REDUCES PITTING AND SEAL DETERIORATION

PERMANENTLY STABILIZES THE FUEL

REDUCES EMISSIONS

REDUCES WEAR AND MAINTENANCE

WORKS FOR YEARS UNLIKE ADDITIVES

And you believe that?

All of that?

That is quite a load. I especially like the part about making the engine run so well that it made it difficult to know when spark plugs needed changing. Somehow this amazing catalyst also affects the ignition coils making them able to cross a plug gap twice the normal width. What a product! I wonder if it makes the tires last longer too?

Only if teamed with nitrogen in the tires.
