First Wave of New Taxes

A growing number of people believe that a revolution is the only way to make any meaningful changes in the government.

I speak with people regularly, total strangers, and spew my beliefs. Surprisingly, very few disagree with me. Yes.....mutual statements of gratitutde for all we have are made BUT, the vast majority of folks conversed with agree that major changes are needed and that the only way to attain those changes is by force from masses of citizens. In conclusion, the majority agree the critical mass of angry citizens to commence an insurrection is not present and may never occur unless things get really bad.

Of course, as long as this era's "opiate of the masses" is around; namely, television, the masses will remain placated, numb, brainwashed by an elite class's propaganda into believing that the way things are is correct, proper and as it should be.

I am just happy that mega-millions of OUR money will be used do illegal aliens continue to receive free medical care.

Sure, why not? That way, Mexico's elite, wealthy class doesn't have to pay for them..and those remittances (money sent back to Mexico by their citizens who are in the USA) are Mexico's single largest source of income.

Think those remittances might drop a bit if those illegals were paying their own way?

You know, it truely is a global economy when the taxes I pay help to prop up corrupt foreign governments. (It's bad enough that they prop up corrupt domestic governments).

By the way:

The Mexican health plan: Go north.
The Mexican employment plan: Go north.
The Mexican welfare plan: Go north.

As long as we're giving it away "free", they'll come and take it.

Here in Washington, just about everything that the citizenry votes for, the politicians overturn. Apparently they know what's best for us, and we didn't really want what we voted for. I'm so glad that democracy is gone here, and that I'm taken care of by the government!!

Seriously, I'm starting to think that the tree of liberty may soon need to be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Otherwise the government simply WILL NOT listen. Remember, the revolutionary war started because of taxes...
