First meal cooked (by me) at the new home in Washington.
Simple, can't fail meal.
Tenderloins, salted and peppered, lightly coated on the sides with seeded Dijohn mustard. Cook on high heat one side for five minutes, turn, put a big dollup of blue cheese, cook another five minutes, turn off the grill and leave steaks in the grill to rest for five minutes
Pasta cooked per package instructions, then place pasta in a fry pan with butter, olive oil, and parmesans cheese. Cook in frying pan until all melted nicely (just a minute or so)
Steam the fresh green beans in a rice cooker for fifteen minutes, plop a dollop of salted butter after plating the beans.
Super easy, not so expensive, and an enjoyable meal. Cleanup appears to be a breeze (I cook, wife cleans up).
BTW- typically I am not a fan of mustard, but works really well with this simple dish.
