Should've told me sooner. I have a ton of stuff I need to do which is almost impossible with two young children. You could have come and done my job for a bit.

Dunno where the age thing came from.
There are lots of folks esp today who make fun of people that work. I think based on their own gigs. I have multiple friends who retired at 48 with a full pension. At bbqs and gatherings imho they are no happier than I am, still working but actually the empower scenario made me realize not for the same reason as my coworkers.
That’s why I say at any level, people who want to work, are lucky. So many do not (wfh who put in 1-3 hours per day imagine if they had to do 8-12 and they had to shop at Costco on their own time not their employer’s?).
Good news Adam, hope things get to normal quickly.

To update this thread, today’s first back 3-11 pm temporarily. Guy they threw in daylight hates it and is taking his 5 month maternity leave in November. My older conworker goes for his other knee replacement day after my birthday (December 1) so he will be out 3 months. Plus it’s been gorgeous weather here in southern PA lately

Did you say a guy is taking maternity leave? This stuff gets confusing these days. My cop has improved but when my son was born we had to use PTO. My bro’s co husband gets 1 mo and wife 1 year off.
