Rizk National Industries (non site sponsor so not linking) has been making these since 1976. I have one and its really good. Well made and nice, old school feel. Only issue is that it isnt thermally compensated. I dont see that being confirmed for these either. I asked the question to them.

I talk to the owner (got lucky), he mention that these was "Themally Compensated". I talked to the owner (can't mention his name) from Rizk last week, good guy also. He did mention that has product was also 100% made in America. Rizk did not say that theirs was a "multi-stage" charger, thats why I like the Interacter chargers.

I talked to them about a month or so ago. Their model 9640 has the "Dead Battery Override Switch" which recharges a battery down to about 2v. The Interacter ICS 1225 goes to 1v automatically and for the $120.00 less.

The Associated does not mention "Multi-stage charging" or "Thermally Compensated", nor did the tech guy I talked to mention it. Even usabattery charger offer a simular charger like Associated for less. I agree with buying products made in the U.S.A. and Associated was the second one I looked at.

Temp compensation is mostly needed with a battery maintainer in hot weather so as to not fry the battery.

Some with temp compensation only do high temp, some low temp and a few both.
