I want to change the factory fill on my '07 Cummins. I can't find a Fleetguard locally so I ordered a couple off the net. I'd like to change the oil before they get here though.

What filters do you reccomend for this one oil change?

I would just wait until he fleetguard arrive.

A few extra days isn't going to make a huge difference on the engine oil, but it will make a difference on your wallet.

If you're really feeling froggy go down the the local Napa and order a 7620XE. I am *pretty sure* that it is a rebadged Fleetguard Stratapore LF16035.

It will probably cost about $17 but Napa usually always can get parts the next day.

PS verify those numbers in case I goofed.

I see you're in Everett. I got my 7620XE from the Napa downtown next day last July. I still haven't used it yet I just wanted to see if it was a rebadged Stratapore.

Are the Wix/Napa filters on the "approved" list of filters enforced by chrysler??? The last I knew they weren't, but I'm not sure the list has been updated in a while. DC would void your warranty quicker than than you could say "fram" if they spotted one on your Cummins.

I would like to know if they are because I would run them on my CTD since they are easier to obtain locally.
