A lot of people knew this was coming.

Maybe they'll slap a FIAT logo on those trucks. :)

Read the article again.

Quote:
Chrysler meantime is preparing to phase out many of its current models, particularly Dodge cars

"Many of" doesn't mean "all of", and it sure as heck doesn't mean the whole brand.

The "Dodge" cars are ugly anyways and they gotta do something to make the company profitable again.

New Fiat-Dodge lineup?

Alfa Romeo Challenger?
Fiat Charger?
Masarati Viper?
Abarth Caliber?
Iveco Ram 1500?
Case New Harvester Ram 3500?
Fiat Caravan?

Magneti Marelli taking over GEM?

Marchionne, who successfully revamped Fiat, appears to be creating a vehicle lineup that stays true to Chrysler's blue-collar muscle-car and pickup roots while adding European-style vehicles to attract a new, more white-collar customer.

Also said the 500 will be here but not under the FIAT badge. It will be interesting.

c'mon guys, there's other parts of hers that are fantastically pleasing to look at other than her thumbs...wasssup with you guys that you would notice THAT?

No where in that article does it suggest that the Dodge brand is going away. You need to look at what it says and what it doesn't say.

Sure, "many Dodge cars will be phased out." That needs to happen in every company every few years, no matter who is owning it.

I've heard elsewhere that the Dodge trucks will be rolled into the new "RAM" brand. It would be a truck only brand, similar to GMC.

I can see it now. The Fiat will be racing along side the Toyota in NASCAR....

And I thought I was weird. The few times I've seen her "performing" in something like "Two and a Half Men," or seen still pictures, her hands were the last thing I considered looking at.
