I think this deserves a bump.

Oh My GOD! I did not know this. On June 15th I sent Mark two bottles of Pennzoil Platinum for testing. We had talked on June 1st about doing this and I was late in getting them shipped. I've been out of town and just now read this.

I am deeply saddened and my prayers go out to his family and co-workers. He was truly a fine addition to this site and mankind. He will be missed by many.

God bless his family

OMG! What can you say? It was obvious to anyone who read his posts that the guy was both brilliant and friendly. What a loss to us and his family. He seemed like one of those guys that noone could say anything bad about. How many of us can say that about ourselves?

I am sorry to hear about that. Even with all of the new members at this web site (I think when I came here there were only a little over one thousand members) this is still our small community on the internet.

Oh ****, this really bites. Mr. Peterson's post were one of the few that I always read, and looked forward to whatever he had to say.

God bless Mark.
His pain and suffering is at an end, as he travels down a path we all must take.
God bless Mark's family, and may God ease their suffering.

Man, I'm off the board for a few days and have to read this upon returning.

Stinky was definetally one of the most knowledgable members and he was willing (without a 2nd thought it seemed) to patiently help everyone out that asked. Well, oil analyis readings just got a whole lot better wherever Stinky Peterson is (pick your religion). He'll be in my thoughts.

Pretty much all been said already

My next oil sample was going to them, thanks to him. Seemed like a great guy.
