. Serious question: What do you mean when you characterize GC as a "near syn"? I ask because my sniffing around has yielded conflicting info about what base oils this stuff really contains. No, I'm not looking to get into a big "good/bad" debate about G-IIIs vs. other syns, I'd just like to know what I really have in my engine (yes, I'm still running my first test fill of GC in my Camry, although I still haven't seen mileage at the level I got with either Mobil-1 or Amsoil ASL).
