Since there is a abundance of people here I wondered if anyone has had the chance to use the extended transmission pans supplied by Hytech or PML?

I am going to add one in the next year (love to buy early and gaze at it in the garage) and was curious if anyone has pros or cons on this. The vehicle is a 2006 Dodge 2500 w/ diesel

Thanks

One con is if the ATF might splash away from the pickup during heavy braking or accelerating.
An extended pump/filter pickup or a baffled pan is a must.

Some deep pans might not fit because of frame/crossmember clearance or splash shield.

If your vehicle is slammed to the ground riding on wired grotesque offset 13s, you might experience some ground clearance issues. Theres nothing like high centering on an ATF pan.

If none of the above apply, its all pro's. Definitely do so!

I added a remote filter kit from permacool between my stock cooler and after market cooler since my transmission uses a screen. I added about another qrt.
