New in 2017 and this was the oem filter off of it new stored in a sealed plastic container. Exmark specified a 5 hr. oil change when new. And this was it back in 2017.
Note the metal flakes in the oil. No name or anything on the filter. Adbv somewhat soft and the media I couldn't easily tear like my last Fram TG.

Looks good Jim. I see a metal mine in the can. What filter went back on and what oil?

Thank You and nice pics 👍🍺🇺🇸🇨🇦

A little advice about this engine. Use only FRAM 4967 series or STP S4967. WIX/NAPA Gold will leak. The baseplate bottoms out on the filter mounting flange before the gasket can completely seal.

They are really squeezing out a lot of HP on a small displacement engine on that exmark from other engines on the market. Anyways, the filter itself looks wonderful but must change the oil to remove the break-in metal. This filter was run back in 17' right?
