At least it sounds faster. lolThe gas engine has sound, power pulses etc it is a sensory event as well as speed.
With enough running room it would have passed the EV6 GT. 800+ horsepower with plenty of gearing past the traction issue point is a lot of pull.Despite KIA`s faster 0-60 time that Dodge managed to cross the finish line with a higher speed.
With a better start the Challenger would finish with a better result tooAt least it sounds faster. lol

Absolutely. That's why I mentioned the traction issues. With a better start the Challenger would finish with a better result too
I'm not at all convinced it matters to me. Really, it's just a distraction. The gas engine has sound, power pulses etc it is a sensory event as well as speed.
A hammer-down I-95 race might be different if the speeds got into the stupid range, which they sometimes do. But even so, that EV6 was pulling hard at 120, and certainly a Plaid would be pulling hard at 150At least it sounds faster. lol

Yeah, when the battery is down to 35%. This is what she does with about 85%:Thought you said yours would only lay down 12 flat?
You can snag one for about 10K off MSRP, now. The market for cars has collapsed.****. That’s impressive. Makes me want to start looking for one at msrp which is probably a joke
It's not like the EV6 GT noses over at higher speeds.A hammer-down I-95 race might be different if the speeds got into the stupid range, which they sometimes do. But even so, that EV6 was pulling hard at 120, and certainly a Plaid would be pulling hard at 150
Plus you can only leagally go so fast anyways. I never hit 100 mph. Too fast for the streets. It's not like the EV6 GT noses over at higher speeds.
No it doesn't at all, but where the supercharged Dodge has traction and isn't grabbing a gear every two seconds it'll be in its stride, which says something given it takes it having 800 horsepower to get there. It's top speed ceiling is well above most cars on the market, EV or otherwise. It's not like the EV6 GT noses over at higher speeds.

If anything its a feature, not a flaw. There's few better experiences that slowly making noise and smoke in a muscle car. That was my biggest appeal to cars as a kid.Challenger is rolling on suspension that had first concept in 1992, and was introduced in the late 1994.
When Mercedes developed that suspension, the strongest engine was AMG E55 with 354hp. So, issues with traction?
Clearly, it does not. The idea that EV's lose power at higher speed persists, as some EV's still do fall flat at higher speeds. Depends on what the manufacturer wants to achieve. The EV6 GT is said to go 161MPH. That requires a steady dose of HP to get there, and is probably motor RPM limited and not HP limited. It's not like the EV6 GT noses over at higher speeds.
