Euro Oil

My daughter said she was jealous of my wife and I driving our European cars, so me being a good Dad, I used Pennzoil Euro L when I changed the oil in her Ford Edge.

Euro oils are about the only good thing associated with Europe, other than the views you can see if you visit it. Any engine that’s not a severe oil burner can use Euro oils safely as long as it also carries your manufacturer’s recommended approvals.

I have a friend that uses Euro 5W-40 Mobil 1 in his Corvette. Loves it!

Think of Euro oil as an 'elevated standard' oil or as if non-euro oil isn't good enough for euro cars.
Yes you can use euro oil, it's a better oil.

API SP is most definitely low-SAPS. A full-SAPS oil would help a heavy oil-burner (quart every 500 miles) dispatch its catalytic converter in short order.

That is only true for 30w and lighter correct? Does not apply to 40w's, Mobil 1 0w-40 being FS and API SP rated for instance.
