Can anyone confirm is Esso LT 71141 is indeed Audi Part # G 052 162A1

ANY confirmation on this would be GREATLY Appreciated.

I think that's the PN for the older non-Tip stuff. The number is here or just call a dealer.

The ZF website lists G 052 162 A1 for use in their transmisssions requiring Esso LT71141. The currently available Part Number is G 052 162 A2 which is a 1 Liter bottle. The A1 form was a 1/2 Liter bottle and is probably no longer available. Othewise the same stuff. Go to ZF.com and search around.

Thx. Found the Source. So far, best price I can find is $14.37 a Liter. Anyone know of any other good sites to shop for this ?

What Esso Product are you reffering to ? JIE has the ESSO stuff too. I think Audi bottles may be *cleaner* - less contaminates since the JIE stuff is bulk and they bottle it themselves

they have a great price on it per litre, i think its even cheaper, all things considered, if you buy the "change out" kits, which includes enough fluid of each brake fluid, coolant, ps fluid and transmission/diff fluid to change out a car; all that for about $149 sound like a steal to me, considering a 99+ audi A6 tip take 7-8 quarts to change out.

JIE? My mechanic has what I believe to be Authentic Audi fluid for $14. How much is generic at JIE?
