Own a 2002 Silverado 5.3L (LT) 2wd with 494k miles and it's time to replace the front calipers. Genuine front calipers are still available thru several online GM parts stores (without a bracket option). When using my Vin#, I'm getting part#'s 19331022 and 19331021. Not sure if these part numbers are correct.

Was also looking at AC Delco's Gold Front Calipers (18FR1378KSD)

Just wondering if there are any other good alternatives to genuine (GM) calipers.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

This isn't news but the quality of all the major rebuilders is spotty at best.

That said, RA has plenty of new options including Raybestos, Dynamic Friction, Powerstop and more. They look to be literally half price of GM Genuine and I dunno that you need a caliper that will go another 494k????

Maybe put the savings toward fresh hoses since you'll be bleeding anyway.
