Transmission hose size

2018 Fusion SE 6F35 transmission 2.5 liter engine. I want to install a Magnefine in the transmission cooler line. Is there any way to determine the inside diameter of the hose without cutting the hose?

And if not, can anyone recommend an inline filter (similar to the Magnefine) that an auto parts store would stock??

Use a dial caliper and measure the diameter of the steel part of the line. Order that diameter Magnafine.
