Cool and all, and I've used this expression before, but stuff like this is really a 'ship of theseus' type thing for me. Is it REALLY an Ecoboost 2.3L? Ehh, epoxied block and pretty much everything else changed?

Still, nice accomplishment out of the displacement.

I saw that.... wonder if they held it to just 7k RPM if it would have lived... not much sense in revving it out so far with a flat curve like that...

yeah that rig's done at 6900.

When you are striving for a number and just keep turning it up - this is often how that journey ends.
