I'm at the end of my rope, next stop, ripping out tile, replacing the whole bathtub faucet system and re-tiling the whole thing....geesh, just shoot me now.
I can't find a replacement plastic cartridge for the faucets on my bathtub. It was built by Eljer in 1987. I found the seat/springs for it, but the plastic cartridge is cracked and will not last long, especially with a 16 year old. It uses a C clamp to hold it in place and has a two small circular disk with a groove in the middle that allows the water to be turned off and on. The cartridge also only allows for the handle to be turned on only 180 degrees. I know, it sounds weird, but hard to explain by words. I hoping this may ring a bell to one of you.
