Edge vs unknown (maybe synpower)

I know I know, Im indecisive. Well, despite what the guy in advance said before, none of them today had any idea what the next special will be. I'm agonizing now. Thursday is the rollover date for the oil special. I was looking and saw that Edge looks like it would make a good 7-10k oil in my car. But I wanted to wait for synpower. If synpower isn't the next special I'm going to be angry that I missed a chance with Edge. So what do you guys think? Should I just go for the edge/Bosch DP for $30 or wait and maybe have it be something else? I'm leaning toward picking up the edge tomorrow, but I just can't make up my mind.

Oh, and at 8.34 @ 100, is Edge on the thinner side of 5W-20?

No brainer for me, I bought the Edge 0w20 which is "thicker" at 100C than their 5W20. If that matters.

I want it pretty thin at operating temperature. It depends on what advance has, too. If they don't have any 5W-20 I'll probably wait.

Bit the bullet. 5qts of Edge 5W-20 (had to ask them to go into the back to look! none on the shelf =P) And a Bosch DistancePlus D3331 filter, and a small bottle of Restore Fuel system cleaner and UCL. Pics to come.
