Typical PG. Can was sturdy, with a light textured coating. The media was secured firmly. Though there was a little excess glue. Media was evenly spaced. ADBV was very playable.

Is that sloppy glue on the base end cap or just some cruddy oil?

With the oil wiped off. Oil on top of the glue spots makes it look worse than it is @ZeeOSix

Yes, lately filters made in China and India have been very well made.

Not too bad, as long as it can't be scraped off easily then it should stay there during use. Unlike Motorcraft filters with the sloppy black glue.
