Looking for the following numbered Quadrajets, these are for my 83 Silverado 305.
17083506
17083508
17083524
17083526
I have 2 Q jets already, one on the truck and a spare, both need to be rebuilt, but i'm looking to get the stock carb that came on a CA 1983 Silverado.

away from hot rod older stuff for a while but years ago many carb shops did quality rebuilds. guessing your in the tough state California + need the exact carb, so an auto recycler would be where to look! locate some + send some E-mails or call them, good luck!

You might try Jet Performance in Huntington Beach. At one time they were "the" quadrajet people. They still do them today although it isn't their main line anymore. jetchip.com. They built me some incredible custom q-jets in the 80's and 90's.

That's an electronic q-jet. Good luck. And it is all but impossible to get a good rebuild, especially on an electronic model.
Do not purchase a commercailly rebuilt Quadra-Jet. They are junk.

There are 3 people I know of who do them right, and I am not sure if they will touch an electronic carb.
Lars Grimsrud
Henry Olsen
Cliff Ruggles

I love Q-Junks! Lars did the L36 carb on my old Vette.

Brad Urban's Carb Shop.

EDIT: looks like he passed away some time back.

I've got an E4ME that Carburator USA redid for me
...on the Grand Prix
Close, but not that part number
I'm tracking down NOS parts for a TSB to make it more compatible with today's ethanol fuels
If you need service information, I've got a few vintage GM books on the matter

I have the factory GM shop manual for the 83 Chevrolet 10/30 series light trucks, has a good section on the E4ME Q jet.
