Thanks for that information. I did not know this before. I will be certain to avoid this A3 qualified oil at all costs due to the high HT/HS requirements. I though this requirement died in the late 1990's when the Europeans learned a little more about oils.

Worse than that. In a 5w20 grade you need a HT/HS near 2.6 to qualify on the fuel mileage qual. You are toast trying to do that at 3.5. European spec designed in the stonehenge age.
