I usually clean my handguns in a product from Cylinder & Slide called Dunk Kit or Dunk It. Simply take off any grips open the action then immerse for 5 minutes or so. Brush barrell, hang
to dry. It has solvents as well as lubes in it.
I also use a product from Amsoil called MP. Metal Protector.
It's a spray and it dries so it doesn't attract dirt. Keeps my Glocks looking great.
