Wondering what everybody likes for a dry lube around here? Looking for either a drip or spray style that either is dry or dries/cures after application. I’d like some water resistance and corrosion protection but those needs are minimal.

Basically I want to replace sentry solutions tuff glide for use in my nicer folding knives. The tuff glide does a nice job preventing corrosion but seems to gum up my real smooth, drop-shut pivots. I want something that won’t pick up grit in sandy hikes and such and is used only on various stainless steels.

No joke, but I'd run it dry... The way I use my knifes in areas of dirt and other grit, any lube would either pick up the particles (wet lube), or get all the **** on my hands. Thoughts??

Haven't tried waxing but I would be skeptical. I'm basically looking for a friction reducer for the pivot area as corrosion resistance should not be a large factor based on materials.
