Drain bolt 99 Windstar 3.0

Anybody know what tool it takes? I have to do an OC on MiL's van at her place and I want to bring the right tool with me.

either 13, 15, or 16mm. i forget the exact size but those are the most common on gas metric fords.

My old 92 taurus w/3.0 (Vulcan) took a 15mm, as does my 09 Escape and my wife's 07 Montego, both with the 3.0 (Duratec's).

Yep. My 2001 Winny was 15mm, but it had the 3.8L. Grab a FL400A color of your choice, some 5w20 or 5w30 and you're good to go. I always grabbed the 5qt jug of Motorcraft 5w20 and a ST400 at Wally.
