I got a craving for some Pizza, so I went ahead and looked for some coupons on retailmenot.com. I came across a coupon for a free large pizza with the purchase of a large pizza code EBFP. (it only works for online orders). I must say that the new Domino's Recipe is gross. The crust is way too garlicy. It almost tastes as if they took garlic butter and mixed it throughout the crust dough. Really not impressed.

Pizza Hut< Domino's too bad there isn't a pizza hut near me

Personally, I like the new dominos quite a bit. To each their own.

I love pizza hut pan pizza, but since they moved from iron to aluminum pans and took a bit of the grease from their crust, it isnt as good as it used to be... IMHO.

I wonder if anybody decided the pizza was still bad and asked for a refund and actually got their money back.

Any of that mass produced corporate pizza tastes horrible. Local mom and pop pizza places are the best. Brother Bruno's in Wayne NJ is one of those classic mom and pop joints. Pizza is to die for!

Dominos down under have a new range, with pesto chicken and all sorts of stuff.

It's actually quite nice (and that's saying a lot for me and chain store pizza).

Problem is that you MUST have your pizza at lunch time, when it's being cooked by grown-ups. Buy it for evening meal, and it's over cheesed, under topped, and gluggy junk.

Agree.... tried it for the first time in 5 years about a month ago. Should've stuck with Pizza Hut.

I agree. I only eat pizza at mom and pop places, it's a little more expensive but the taste is so much better.

To attract the more concerned customers, it is actually organic free range chickens, run down by documented workers driving hybrid vehicles.

That should be the other way I'm guessing? > is greater than ;0

Personally, I like the new Dominos, it has more "taste" than before.

Gotta admit I got caught off-guard the first time I had their "new" pizza recipe, and I told them it was too seasoned, they noted it and the next delivery was a lot better (less grease and toned down the garlic).

Personally, I'm a fan of the Deli pizzas

We Americans are fattening the world. mwahahahahahh!!!

I think the "new" Domino's pizza is good (not great), but not significantly better than any other chain and not really any better than what it replaced. A lot of chains equate good taste with piling on flavors. They add tons of butter, garlic, etc. to make up for a not so great dough and sauce. All of the chains are guilty of this. I got some Papa John's the other night...the bread sticks came in a grease tray, I guess to hold all the excess grease, and were soaked with this grease and "seasoning."

The main benefit of chains is that they will stay open late. Otherwise, you are much better off getting pizza from a small independent restaurant if quality is what you are after. There's a place down the road from me called N.Y.P.D. Pizza and another called Brooklyn's Pizza that blow any chain out of the water and are pretty closely priced...you just have to order before 9:30.
