Does dodge recommend a Silcone ADBV?

I know Ford has certain Motorcraft filters designed with the silcone ADBV, does dodge have any vehicles designed to use a filter with a silicone ADBV? (2005 Grand Caravan?) Thanks

I don't think so. The mans spec a holding time for the ADBV. Some may spec a material.

Buick92, I think you're putting the cart before the horse. I'd have to see documented proof there're any specific engine design criteria that limit to only the use of an oil filter containing a nitrile ADBV in lieu of one equipped with a silicone ADBV. In other words, if your Mopar engine's OEM oil filter had a nitrile ADBV, you're still certainly free to use an equivalent replacement filter equipped with a silicone ADBV without concern if you wish.
